Specialist in Orthodontics
Manveer joined Dunelm Orthodontics in October 2017 following his speciality training at the Eastman Dental Hospital and Institute, University College London. Following his general dental training, Manveer has completed hospital posts in oral and maxillofacial surgery as well as a paediatric surgical post at Alderhey Children’s Hospital, Liverpool. Manveer has built a keen interest in team development and clinical education and consequently completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education. He is a current fellow of the Higher Education Academy UK.
Committed to evidence based research, Manveer will be commencing a doctorate exploring the orthodontic workforce within the NHS at the University of Oxford from October 2019.
Manveer enjoys all aspects of orthodontics and treats patients both within the National Health Service and privately.

Hamza qualified as a dentist in 2009 and holds the licence to practice dentistry in 3 different continents. He has been working in hospitals and private facilities in Asia, Africa and the UK. He further specialised in the field of Orthodontics at the prestigious King’s College London and worked at both King’s College Hospital and Guy’s Hospital, where he received his Masters in Orthodontics. He is also a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, where he earned his MOrth degree. He also holds a Masters degree in Dental Public Health from King’s College London.
Hamza joined Dunelm Orthodontics in October 2018, offering both NHS and private orthodontic treatment options.

My name is Hayley and I am an Orthodontic Therapist at Dunelm.
I joined the team almost 5 years ago.
Before I qualified as an Orthodontic Therapist, I was a general dental nurse for about 4 years and an Orthodontic nurse for about 7 years.
The part of my job I enjoy the most is meeting new people every day and helping them to smile again.
All of my spare time is taken up by my 2 year old little girl; keeping her entertained by going on long walks, bike rides and looking for new adventures.

I really enjoy my job as the team we have here are amazing it's like a little family rather than just work colleagues and you cannot say that about a lot of places!

In my spare time I love being outdoors. Either walking, mountain biking, clay pigeon shooting or camping but especially training my working cocker spaniel Luna. I love a good practice joke too.

I appreciate all aspects of my role. However, working alongside the Orthodontist in clinic is what I enjoy the most.
The key focus for myself and the practice is patient care.
I love to see the patient journey and how happy patients are at the end of their treatment.
Outside of work I adore travelling and visiting family. I also like to eat out at my favourite restaurants.

I started my life in dentistry back in 1999 as a trainee Dental Nurse, in a private dental practice, in the centre of Durham City. In my 21 years in dentistry I have spent 15 years in general dentistry and 6 years in Orthodontics.
After completing me NEBDN certificate in Dental Nursing. I progressed on over the years to gain as much knowledge as I could to help be journey through my dental career. I went on to complete a Diploma in Dental Practice Management, NEBDN in Orthodontic Nursing, impression taking course in 2017 allowing me to have my own records clinics. I have now completed my training at University of Central Lancashire to achieve a Diploma in Orthodontic Therapy RCS (Edinburgh). I am currently waiting for a date to sit my final exams.
I love being an Orthodontic Therapist. It is an amazing job as I get to see my patients from the beginning of treatment, through to the end. It's a journey I love to take with all of my patients.
I love being the person who gets to see the patients amazing smiles at the end of treatment.
It is so rewarding to know you have been a part of changing someone's smile and confidence.

I started my career at a dental practice in Birtley and I qualified as a dental nurse in 2012 after I completed my training at Newcastle College. I then decided I wanted to move into orthodontics and I joined Dunelm in July 2013.
As a dental nurse I underwent additional training which allowed me to take radiographs and impressions.
In late 2018, I was offered the opportunity to train as an Orthodontic Therapist, and after a successful interview at UCLAN School of Medicine & Dentistry, I began my course in the Summer of 2019.
The best part of working in orthodontics is seeing patients end results and how it changes them into confident people.

My name is Emmaline I am an Orthodontic Dental Nurse for Dunelm Specialist Orthodontic Centre.
I joined the Dunelm family in 2019 after a long career of 28 years in general dentistry and clinical management. I decided to specialise in orthodontics, as I love making a difference to people’s lives, giving them the confidence to smile and being part of the patient’s treatment journey.
I gained my national certificate in dental nursing back in 1994. Over the years I have gained many dental and non-dental qualifications, including dental radiography, dental health education, impression taking and an advanced qualification in dental decontamination. I am also a qualified beauty therapist.
It's great being part of the Dunelm family. I’m loving orthodontic dentistry, I particularly enjoy dental health education and our records clinics, where I take impressions and carry out photography for our patients, as part of their orthodontic treatment.
In my spare time I love spending time with my family, I enjoy gardening, genealogy, as well as walking and camping around the country with my family and whippet Indy.

My name is Jackie.
I have been a dental nurse for over 20 years, qualifying in 2000.
After working many years in NHS and Private general dentistry, I was lucky enough to join the Dunelm team in 2019.
I have thoroughly enjoyed specializing in orthodontics, which I have always wanted to do.
It is extremely satisfying to see our patient’s complete treatment and leave with a new found confidence and smile proudly.
As well as assisting the clinician in surgery, I also work in our busy decontamination room to prepare sterilized instruments for all of our patients.
I also give our patients oral health advice and help them to make a difference to their dental regime.
Outside work, I am kept busy with my 8-year-old son. As a family we look forward to weekends and spending time together, which includes walking and eating out.
